The Southside Living Area consists of Valentine and deKiewiet Towers and the Maisonettes, all of which are housing for University of Rochester students.
The Maisonettes are located within walking distance of both the Medical Center and the River Campus. Each of the 22 apartments in the Maisonettes has two bedrooms and are fully furnished.
The Towers are a 10- to 15-minute walk from the River Campus. The apartments in Valentine and deKiewiet Towers are furnished. There are two types of apartments. A three-bedroom apartment with two large bedrooms and another smaller bedroom along with a full kitchen and bathroom. There are also two-bedroom apartments with two large bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. There are a few single rooms without kitchens on the first floor of each building. Coin-operated laundry is in the basement of each building.
