UR Rotaract is a local and international service club at the University of Rochester sponsored by Rotary International. The goals of Rotaract are to foster leadership and responsible citizenship, encourage high ethical standards in business, and promote international peace and understanding. Rotaractors are a part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. They begin their effort on the community level, but they know no limits in their outreach.
Founded in 2006 by Joe Stadolnik, UR Rotaract has since been an active participant in various community service work and has hosted several cultural events.
