The Flaum Eye Institute (formerly the University of Rochester Eye Institute) is a medical practice providing specialty eye care. This regional center provides diagnostics and treatments to help preserve vision in common and complex cases, including pioneering new treatments. The center also provides research, training and community outreach.

The center was founded in 2002 as part of the University of Rochester Medical Center and renamed in 2009 in honor of local philanthropists David and Ilene Flaum.

Note that the majority of care is provided in various offices at the Crittenden Blvd location (part of the overall 601 Elmwood Avenue URMC complex). Laser vision correction is done at the Meridian Centre location on South Winton Road.
