Sycamore 108: Clear Observed Changes button breaks Stats(Username) macro.

Things that aren't bugs, but are still pesky

Mapping function doesn't handle multi-location situations well — the Maps button zooms in on one location, and it'll do the nearest 20 hits for all locations, meaning that nontrivial lists of addresses will blow the URL Length Limiter.

2008-06-09 09:37:47 "Last Page Edited" is exhibiting erratic behavior. I made a minor edit to the Dan Quilty page in mid-May, and have made several other edits since - but about 1/3 of the time when I visit my user page the Dan Quilty edit shows up as my most recent. —MarkJackson

2008-09-21 14:53:51 The Clear Message function and Page Refresh should update the browser URL to remove the #preview. The result is that if you do a page refresh, or go back to the page via the arrows you may get an additional posting of a Comment, or Edit. —BradMandell

2008-09-21 14:56:44 If you click on the "Enter" (Return) button while entering the Comment while Editing a page you get a message "You cannot Edit this Page", some users may not realize they can use the browser back button to recover their edits and may lose work. —BradMandell

2010-09-13 19:29:39 "Clear Observed Changes" function on Recent Changes page is locking up Firefox, then raising an "unresponsive script" alert box. Typically takes a couple of "cancel script" attempt to resolve. This is new behavior within the last 48 hours or so - don't think anything has changed at my end, but.... —MarkJackson

2010-09-14 15:30:35 More on the "Clear Observed Changes" problem:

The script is hanging waiting for a response from Google Analytics. This is probably because the page has a script invoking urchin.js - which Google replaced a couple of years ago with a different script (ga.js). If this is cleaned up I suspect the problem will go away. —MarkJackson

2010-09-15 07:55:25 MarkJackson: I think the Google Analytics thing wasn't the cause of the problem, but I've updated it anyway. The problem looks to be related to the auto-focus I added to move the cursor to the search box... I've commented that out and things seem to be better on the Recent Changes page. How do things look now?
