2012-02-07 13:58:56   The biggest group of self-centered, argumentative uppity groups people you will ever encounter. If you live, or own property in one of their communities they will never view you as an equal. Every property owner that I have talked to in their communites absolutely despises dealing with them. They really know how to increase HOA dues and then do the bare minimum maintenance and cheapest possible repairs though, they are no dummies thats for sure —VinnyVega

2014-04-17 11:34:23   Property management companies and property managers do not determine the level of maintenance or HOA fees, those are decided by the elected board of directors of each individual community. Some communities want only the bare minimum done and when presented with bids for work to be done by outside contractors always choose the lowest bid. If you're not satisfied with the level of service, perhaps you should volunteer to be on the board and take part in the decision making. Sounds like you wanted something done that your board would not authorize and perhaps you were argumentative with the wrong people. —gloria
