2007-03-20 15:16:21   I had a suit jacket modified here. The person who checked the fitting and marked the cuts did not have a good grasp of how a jacket should fit, as I had to be quite verbose with what I wanted. Once the lines were drawn, I was quite happy with the workmanship. —EastSideStephen

2007-06-21 10:19:47   I agree with the previous comment. They know remarkably little about how men's clothes should fit, considering that is their specialty. Everytime I took something to be altered, he would try to convince me to buy clothes from them instead, which he would then gladly custom tailor. —JosephMark

2008-04-11 17:58:15   I think this is a great business, i voted for them in the Rochester's Best choice survey, and I've been a loyal customer for years. Kim is the new owner and has been for the last several years, she always gives me discounts when I bring in a large bundle of alterations, I have never known this business to ever make fully custom apparel or ever sell any kind of clothing, just the alterations of apparel that I bring in. I work in a office and many of my girlfriends have gone, and are now loyal customers. My husband takes his suits in, and as long as kim is doing a fitting, everything is fine. I've never had a problem. —TeresaSmith

2009-11-01 11:31:22   I have had several jackets and suits altered here and never had a problem. No one has ever tried to sell me clothes here—unlike some other places in town. They are quick and concerned that you are happy with the work. And, given my experience, there is a discount for larger, multi-item jobs. —Snowbag
