2009-06-05 21:47:19 My wife and I just went to this family owned and operated diner tonight (Friday). The sign says, "Huge portions, cheap prices." Boy, they were not kidding! My wife ordered the Eggplant Parmesan which came with soup, salad, pasta, and dinner rolls. Her portion could have easily fed a family of four. Her meal was a mere $7.75. I went with their Friday special, the Fish Fry which also came with soup, salad, fries and dinner rolls. The Fish was deep fried to my liking and the french fries were hot and crispy. The side salad and soup were standard but thoroughly enjoyed the various options of soup (Manhattan and New England Clam Chowder, Cream of Asparagus [delicious], and a Chicken one. They have a huge array of entrees and sandwiches. They even feature a "Garbage Plate" and can't wait to try this. This is a well kept secret which is located near the Auto Auctioneer on the west end of West avenue. It is sort of hard to find, but I guarantee you'll love the place and won't leave hungry. The family is very friendly and I wish them the best of luck. We will be dining with them shortly! —ChefRamsey
