Genesee Libby Studio is a wet-plate collodion photography studio run by Jenn Libby. It was located in the Hungerford Building until August, 20161. A new studio space in the Pocket Neighborhood/state streets area will be open by January 2017.
From the website
We specialize in the 19th-century wet-plate collodion process to make unique direct positive photographs on glass (ambrotypes) and on metal (tintypes). We are among only a handful of commercial portrait studios in the country that create these handmade, one-of-a-kind images. Each one is a work of art unto itself—every plate is made by hand from start to finish.
