Heat Nightclub, formerly SoHo East, was an upscale night club and bar on East Avenue. Cover charge was $10 for 18+ and $5 for 21+.
The building was shared with the "concert venue" A-Pub Live. Heat Nightclub occupied the top floor.
Heat was opened March 11, 2010 by the same owners as SoHo East.

2010-07-18 13:20:18 I can imagine this place still packs like a can of sardines and charges $4 for domestic beers? If so, no thanks. —MetalFrost

2011-06-26 15:54:37 Conversation with manager in the "O Lounge" in Heat. Manager - Only certain people are allowed back here.
Me - What kind of people?
Manager - White people. Not black people.
Friend - isn't the girls bathroom back here?
Manager - Yes, so we let the girls back to go to the bathroom.
Me (appalled) - Even black girls?
Manager - Well, we have to.
I left. It makes me sick that places like this exist. Even if what he's saying is not true and this lounge is not exclusively for white people, this is sick. —LinZ
2011-09-08 07:42:29 The only thing good about this place is the location. It is not an "upscale" nightclub.
The owner has been cited by the City of Rochester for many violations. I'm surprised he is still allowed to operate.
Be warned. —CarmenMeli
2011-09-29 14:19:00 not a good experience. too many people, $20 for unders to get in and $6-$15 drinks with a $5 cover for overs! there is a circle of black guys always around the dance floor just creeping on girls. nasty trashy dancing, good place if you wanna f*** on the floor. would never go there again. i deff do not recommend this place unless you are trying to get in with a fake i.d.
2012-06-01 15:06:51 I tell everyone who has morals to stay away from this club! First they advertise that their prices for 18+ are $10 but at the door they charge you $20. My sister was turning 19 on May 28th 2012 and went out with a girlfriend to celebrate. She got into a minor altercation with some people who were in VIP section because they didnt want her standing on the stairs to the VIP area. The VIP party was friends with the owner, so they called security to handle the situation. But instead of Handling the situation the 3 security guards beat her up, slammed her on the ground, against the wall, pulled her hair out, kicked her in the face, and lost her phone and shoes! We are currently filing legal paperwork against that club! Security is supposed to escort people from situations not beat them up. Read the reviews everywhere about Club Heat and they speak for themselves. I Dont & wont support this Club! —jinxx87
