Houseworks was a large, contemporary furniture store which has designs from around the world. Everything in Houseworks is different, unique and can be unusual. The store has a very eclectic mix of style.

Houseworks was voted "Best Furniture Store" in City Newspaper's Best Of Awards in 2007.¹

Now that the store is closed, all customer orders, customer service & deliveries will be handled by Mt. Morris Furniture

2008-03-05 21:37:03   Was suggested to go here, but I was really dissappointed to shop at this place. Been there a few times. Each time very poor service and quality seemed very low. Really long time frames. Just surprised it got voted best furniture store. I much prefered other stores.

2009-05-20 18:04:25   I was just there expecting to browse the store only to discover the windows papered over and a sign saying "Houseworks storefront is closed" and to direct inquiries to Mt. Morris Furniture. I didn't hear about closing sales or anything like that. Sad for Rochester to lose one of its only modern furniture retailers. —EvanGelder
