Jake's of Pittsford was a store in Pittsford village that is a genuine Life is good neighborhood store. Items included t-shirts, headwear, bags and mugs all with optimistic statements. A majority of the merchandise was based around a character named Jake and his dog. The concept started in the 90's by two brothers in Boston selling t-shirts at festivals. The company was also known for its donations to community issues and supporting child related projects.
This store is located where Up the Creek used to be.
Based on an article in the Democrat and Chronicle the store will be closing March 1, 2014.
