The Little Cafe is a small cafe tucked into the Little Theatre complex facing Winthrop Street, behind the main theater. In addition to a variety of dessert selections, the cafe features a menu of soups, salads and light entrees, with a number of vegetarian alternatives. Beer from Custom Brewcrafters is available on tap, as well as a small selection of wines and coffee drinks.
The cafe features frequent live jazz - almost daily from September through June featuring music by Lumiere, Margaret Explosion, Trio East, Steve Greene & the White Hots, Paul Hoffman and Maria Gillard Band. There's also an art exhibit that changes regularly. The website has details on both music and art in the cafe.
You can visit the cafe without buying a ticket at the Little.

2007-11-15 21:49:25 The Margaret Explosion is the most adventurous jazz ensemble in the area. Check them out at the Little some Wednesday night. —JackPorcello
