http://criminaljustice.state.ny.us/crimnet/ojsa/impact/Operation IMPACT is New York State's comprehensive crime fighting program. In Monroe County, there are two police departments that receive funding from Operation IMPACT: the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, and the Rochester Police Department.

2008-01-14 20:23:41 Impact has been very ineffective as a former resident of the "The Crescent" of NE Rochester . I see people everyone knew was a dealer and police stopping to arrest people leaving their houses as well as in the distant past I bought some myself. This distant past 2 years ago I was pulled over by "NYS Troopers" they stopped me after stopping in front of a house I had no idea it was a druug house I swear. In conclusion cops have been pulled over with out cause thus no conviction and when their is convictions they are mostly addicts who can not help but go their . —NateRiley1
