2006-09-28 18:23:57   delicious stir fry-s! The lunch specials run under 7$ and include soup. Check it out. —OneLove

2007-01-25 16:04:14   Good Thai food - comparable to King and I. The dining room is nice, although it is like most "chinese" restaurants - one big room. It's always easy to get a table because they really make their money on takeout. If you call ahead, the food is ready in 15 min. Everytime I go, they have at least 5 orders waiting for pickup. —RochCon

2007-01-26 08:29:41   We live nearby, and really enjoy the place. They're also extremely accommodating; For example, our 4 year old daughter is a very picky eater, and the restaurant is very good about thinks like making up special plates of veggies, etc. that are not on the menu. Excellent customer service! —RichMulvey

2007-02-20 15:06:18   Worth the drive to the 'burbs. Their masaman curry (yellow curry with sweet potatoes and peanuts) is outstanding. The sweet potatoes make the dish. Good fresh spring rolls too. —EastSideStephen

2007-03-07 16:26:27   Ordered take-out from here recently, and the food was not as good as I remembered. The masaman curry and my companion's green curry were both on the bland side of things. The green curry had what appeared to be frozen peas and carrots in it. Maybe they changed chefs since my last visit (it had been several months), or maybe it was just an off-night. —EastSideStephen

2007-08-31 06:46:19   This place has good food, and I agree that it's comparable to King and I, but I think Esan and Phuket are a little more authentic, more zippy and unusual in their flavorings and spiciness. —KatieSchmitz

2008-05-01 16:15:12   Very dependable and consistent quality. Nothing extraordinary, but fast, relatively inexpensive and very prompt service. Good for takeout or to dine-in. Comparable to King and I. —YanaLevin

2010-06-02 12:53:14   Very flavorful, and excellent Thai iced tea. I absolutely LOVE the fried calamari, fresh spring rolls. I always have a hard time choosing my entree, as they are all delicious. My go-to favorite is Evil Jungle Prince. I agree with RochCon, the dining area still looks like a bank, LOL! —LisaRuns

2011-02-14 00:29:22   A fast, delicious and vegetable-filled choice for lunch - try the pad see ew and thai iced coffee. They are generous with the vegetables in almost all their dishes and offer brown price which makes this place potentially nutritious. —OneLove

2012-07-04 15:18:11   I ordered pad thai with chicken for take out recently and was surprisingly disappointed. The chicken was most definitely undercooked and the whole dish was bland and unappealing. The fish sauce was also overwhelming to the point that the dish was inedible. I was disappointed as I've been to Pattaya several times and have always had delicious dishes. Hoping this was just an off night, but I'll stick with veggie based entrees from now on. —lahopkins

2012-07-30 15:01:07   I've been disappointed the last couple of times that I ate at Pattaya. And, in fact, I resolved not to go there anymore. Their curries are very bland. I could be wrong, but I think that in the past (say, four or five years ago), the curries had a lot more flavor to them. Perhaps they have new cook staff? The service at Pattaya is decent, and the atmosphere is unremarkable. But if you want good Thai food, you should skip Pattaya and instead head over to Phuket Thai (where the service is a bit worse but the food is much better). —Rochester-Native
