The Polish Film Festival is presented annually by the University of Rochester Skalny Center for Polish and Central European Studies. The first one was held in 1997. Other sponsors include Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York, the Polish Heritage Society of Rochester, the Association of Polish Filmmakers, and the Polish Film Institute.
