The Rochester Hispanic Business Association (RHBA), an affiliate of the Rochester Business Alliance, is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1989 "to promote development of Hispanic owned businesses in the Greater Rochester area." Their Mission is to
"increase the visibility of Hispanic professionals and business owners in the Rochester area by providing a forum to network and interact with other members of the business community and political leaders. Similarly, to provide the opportunity to learn and stay in touch with our Hispanic heritage and to enjoy other members with a Hispanic cultural background or interest."1
Each year RHBA seeks nominations for and makes an Hispanic Business Person of the Year Award. You will see photos of previous awards on their Flickr Albums. See their website for details on the current year's nominations and awards.
