Signage Photo, BradMandell Slater Creek Fishing Access Site is a fishing site along Slater Creek near Charlotte/Greece border on Beach Road near the Russell Station Power Plant. The site is maintained by the Department of Environmental Conservation in cooperation with the Town of Greece.
The fishing site has a large public parking lot (or take the #1 bus), a fishing dock on the creek and access on the discharge channel on the lake side of the road. Warm water year-round provides good onshore fishing. More mobile anglers can also wade out about 50 feet into the lake.
