Surace's white pizza has it's own rightful spot on the menu board. The awning says "Frank & Paul Surace Pizza & Subs."

Surace's Pizza & Subs was a neighborhood pizza shop in East Rochester. In addition to serving pizza and subs, Surace's had several basic pasta dishes on the menu, and served a fish fry on Friday nights.
On March 29, 2015, a violent explosion rocked the pizza shop. Firefighters were called to the scene around 5am. In total, over 75 firefighters responded, from fire departments in Pittsford, Fairport, and Brighton. The pizza shop was destroyed in the explosion and fire. The owner was quoted in a Democrat & Chronicle article:
"We've been in business there 32 years," said Paul Surace, his voice breaking. "It's a family shop and it's all gone, it's all gone. I can't believe this has happened. I don't know what to do now."1

2008-08-02 19:16:21 Oh, the white pizza at Surace's. The crust is very light (but not bland), and the cheese on top has the perfect golden brown spots. Not overly greasy or oily - just delicious. The wings are just okay. —ZachSmalt
