The Pierogie Guy offers traditional varieties like Sauerkraut, Potato Cheddar and Sauerkraut Mushroom and can be found in the winter shed at the Public Market on Saturdays. They also sell novelty flavors like Potato Cheddar Bacon and the popular Buffalo Chicken. They are on the menu at Rohrbachs, and are available in several independent area groceries. But meat flavors are only sold at The Rochester Public Market.
The pierogies are hand made, so each one is a little different. They are sold pre-cooked, so preparation is fast.

2007-12-10 13:28:47 Picked up a bag of Buffalo Chicken and a bag of potato, cheddar, and bacon pierogies at the Public market. They were $8 and $7 a bag respectively, with I think 12 in each bag. They were really good though. I served em up for 4 of my friends and everybody loved them. I'll be back at the market next Saturday to get a few more! —GeorgeBluth
