It is a rural community which is about 40 minutes from Rochester, NY. To get to the center of this community ( the Town Hall) head east from Rochester on the NYS Thruway until Exit 43: Manchester. Once off the NYS Thruway head south on Route 21 through Shortsville. At Route 488 turn left and then a quick right onto East Street for a quarter mile. Turn right onto Smith Road and take that to County Road 4. Turn left on County Road 4 to the Town Hall.
This community has a lot of farmland but is also a great place to have a home. With the great expanse of land you can do garden, dirt bike, or just hike around. The people that live in this community are very friendly to newcomers.
