Features fitness classes, shotokan karate, squash, Yoga, volleyball, soccer and softball, as well as about 40 pieces of cardio and resistance equipment. Personal training and massage also available, by appointment. Towel service is complimentary. Limited day care is available, as well as dry cleaning and shoe repair. Membership is payroll deductible (for University employees). Locker rentals are available at $35/year (lockers are half-height and there are two locker rooms for men and two for women). There are showers in the locker rooms.

2007-07-22 16:40:27 I just joined recently and I like it a lot. The equipment room is on the small side, but you can reserve equipment to make sure what you want is available during peak hours. The aerobics classes are fun and offered frequently (generally around lunch time and dinner time on weekdays, and I think there are some saturday classes too). —RachelBlumenthal

In case anyone's hearing anything in the rumor mill, we're not closing or relocating any time soon. We're part of that 5-year plan due in 18 months that was due 12 months ago. We expect to stay on site and actually have a larger facility, although it will depend on how much funding we can extract.
Oh, and this year our annual Deep Cleaning shutdown dates are (tentatively) August 29 through September 1. —DaveMahon
2007-10-05 14:29:53 Shotokan karate club is still taking in beginners as well as more experienced students. Sensei Wolfgang Haas, 3rd dan, is certified by Japan Karate Association. Mondays/Thursdays 6pm-7pm, advanced class same days 6:45-8:15pm. —XenonIce
