Currently Rochester-based, they plan to eventually cover the Buffalo and Syracuse regions as well. The site is run by Ben Campanelli and was founded in April 2012.
Mission Statement
With the rapid decline of print media and its march toward a paywall business model for outdated on-line content, we hope to encourage alternatives for local and regional news and opinion. We want to assemble in one place as many web pages, blogs, forums, facebook, twitter news, cultural and opinion sites published in Upstate New York environs.
