2007-10-27 21:51:15 My friend had heard what wonderful parties La-Tea-Da! offers, especially for the younger ladies. My friend was told that we would have our own server, who would guide us so that we could have the best possible time. When we arrived, Lady Maureen (who was LOVELY)greeted us. Allison brought us tea and then just stood there. My friend ended up 'leading' the party. When we received our check, there was an 18% gratuity included, of which we knew to expect. My friend, not wanting to be rude, paid the check in full, including the 18%. From the time we left until the following Tuesday, it was on her mind. She finally did call Lady Maureen Tuesday morning. Lady Maureen apologized profusely, told her that the experience is meant to be outstanding from beginning to end and was so apologetic that the 18% was returned, along with an additional amount of our check. We will definitely be back because the food was delicious and the rest of the service was actually good! —LauraVanVeen
