Rochester is home to a small number of stores that deal in used and new vinyl records. Most are located just outside of the downtown area.

The Bop Shop - It's possibly the biggest record dealer in Rochester. The vast majority are used jazz and rock albums, there's very little new music here.

Lakeshore Records - Both new and used records. Also deals mostly in indie music. The staff are friendly, and will special order what they don't have in stock for no extra charge.

NeedleDrop Records - "Specializing in, but not limited to: Punk, Hardcore, Rock, Metal, Indie, Noise." Located in the South Wedge.

Record Archive - Large collection of used records. A huge selection, but again it's mostly 80s rock.
