Alexander Street Festival

See Gone, But Not Forgotten.

The Alexander Street Festival was an annual festival held on Alexander Street. Very similar to the East End Festival, but with more participation from the bars along Alexander, such as Mex and BarFly. One would typically encounter a very young (and drunk) crowd. There was a stage set up at the corner of East and Alexander with live music (generally Uncle Plum-type new-rock stuff). Around 10pm, everyone crowded into the bars.

As of July 7, 2008, could not find any web references to this festival since 2005. Likely, only historic information.


RochesterDowntown.com Monroe/Alexander Neighborhood does not list this festival along with others in the area.
