Artisan Church meets for worship on Sundays from 10:00-11:30am. Worship includes engaging, relevant bible messages, and great worship music from multiple house bands.
Artisan is a fairly new church in the South Wedge / Swillburg area of Rochester that takes a neighborhood-focused, team approach to ministry. It began as a merge of two church planting teams (Capax Dei & Quest) that joined their core groups together in 2005.
Artisan's mission is to:
Encounter God, Embrace People, & Engage Culture in the way of Jesus.
Their essential biblical values are Awe, Beauty, Roots, Community, & Justice.
Newcomers can expect a welcoming community, great music, & relevant teaching. Young adults make up the majority of the congregation, but all ages are represented and welcomed. It's a fantastic church for young families, as kids are really valued as an essential part.
