2007-02-25 18:48:51   I have taken both strip cardio and belly dancing here. The instructors are awesome! —FattyFatFat

2007-02-25 20:27:09   I've also taken strip cardio (lots of fun!) and found the teacher to be enthusiastic and the class appropriate for all shapes, sizes, ages, and ability levels. My one complaint is that it gets very cramped on the dance floor. I hope that they'll be able to move to a bigger space one day. —RachelBlumenthal

2007-03-27 13:14:57   My one complaint about this place is the lack of air conditioning. It gets so uncomfortably hot in there, and all they have is a little fan blowing. I understand you are supposed to sweat while working out but... this space is small and that coupled with the no AC means you are smelling stinky people around you. I took Hiphop and Yoga here for awhile. —KimBee

2007-06-20 18:41:42   I am taking belly dancing here currently. Definitely works your body in a different way. I strongly recommend it for everyone! —OneLove

2009-12-01 23:29:51   Earlier this Summer, my partner signed up for the hula hooping classes and had a terrible experience. After registering MONTHS in advance, several e-mails each to multiple addresses and many, many phone calls went completely unanswered. We she reported for her first class she was informed that they had placed her in a different time slot. This wouldn't have been a big deal, except that there was no way for her to change her schedule. Long story, long, GH offered no help and no explanation for the neglected phone calls and e-mails. Her money was refunded, but only two weeks later. Just a note of fair warning. I'm sure this is not the norm, but she will not return. —ptra1004

2010-01-14 15:27:47   Goddess Hour is a fantastic place! The instructors are both: gorgeous and empowering in the class and, I leave feeling sexier than I have in a while. I only wish they offered bigger discounts or smaller classes - the pole dancing class is crowded and as much fun as you are having would be a better work out if you weren't waiting for the other 3-4 women ahead of you for your turn. I have recommended the classes to anyone that will listen. —NightlifeCher

2010-01-28 14:14:51   have been taking belly dance classes at Goddess Hour for almost 6 years. These classes have become one of the highlights of my week. Not only are the classes a great workout but are so much fun as well. You don't feel like you're "working" when you have this much fun. The instructors are well trained, knowledgeable and extremely supportive. This studio is such a supportive environment and has become such a positive nurturing part of my life. In addition to awesome belly dance classes, I have also attending a few of their workshops and their bi-annual belly dance event, Hip Happens. They always put on a great show and conduct fabulous workshops for resonable prices. The studio also offers a variety of other classes including zumba, hula hooping, Bollywood, yoga, dance meditation, art of exotic and they just added a pole class. Although I haven't taken any of these other classes yet, I have heard from other students that they are just as much fun and high quality as their belly dance classes are. If you're looking for a great place to have a lot of fun while working out and meet new friends, I would definitley recommend checking out Goddess Hour —mlpn

2010-03-06 10:03:08   Goddess Hour is a real jewel for women looking to improve fitness and have a great time. I've been taking classes there for almost 2 years and the offerings and staff are top quality. The bellydance classes are not only great fun but a superior core strengthening workout. The facility is spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly Recommend. —PABV

2010-12-15 11:24:52   I want to love this place. I took belly dancing lessons there. I signed up for the 8 PM class. When I arrived for the first night, we were informed that they were putting us in the (already crowded looking) 7 PM class and canceling the 8 PM. It was okay until we actually had to start moving, then it was like a train wreck - bodies everywhere. The whole overcrowding experience turned me off, which is such a shame because I really think I'd enjoy the actual dancing. The instructor (the first one; they changed after the first couple of weeks) was really good, though. (The second one showed up and assumed the beginners knew much more than we actually did - making it more of a class for the more advanced students.) Overall not a great experience, though I'd reconsider if I heard they were changing the overcrowding issues. —AMNSN
