2011-07-21 10:51:27   Went here yesterday for lunch. I want to see this place succeed but their sandwiches were not good, plus their AC was not working well. We could barely eat in there it was so hot. Sandwiches are overpriced for what they are. $7 for a sandwich that doesn't even include chips or a pickle, $8 for a panini. The bread was very bland and the sandwich combinations just weren't exciting. They have some good competition out there (Grill and Greens, Cravings) and both are cheaper and have better food. —goldengirl217

2011-08-11 18:48:55   I thought this place was great-a welcomed addition to downtown Rochester. My sandwich was large and flavorful. My co-worker loved her panini. I know the bread comes from Baker's Street Bakery. I like that they offer healthy, fresh lunch options which many places downtown do not. I will return. —madisonlady

2011-08-18 13:15:04   Went to Lunch for lunch today. It's very clean and attractive place inside. The bar seating along the windows and the outdoor tables are both great assets. The menu has a nice variety of offerings that I'm sure could please anyone. I had the Turkey Mango Panini for $7.49 and loved it. Good portion size and great flavor. The general consensus among my co-worker group of 5 was that the food was fresh and delicious, quickly prepared, but a little overpriced.

One compared the price of his lunch to the price of street meat, but I don't think that's a valid comparison; I've never encountered a street vendor with mango salsa or fresh mozarella.

We all agreed that we would go back again though, because it was so tasty. —RichardSchreiber

2011-08-18 16:09:55   I totally disagree with goldengirl217. I had lunch at Lunch today with friends and we all had a great experience. It was clean & very nicely decorated. The window bar seating was extremely comfortable and allowed us to people watch while we ate. I had the Seaside Panini and it was delicious. It had avacado, mozzarella & a yummy basil mayo that made this speciality panini super yummy & about as far from 'street meat' as you can get. My one friend had the Portobella Sandwich and the other friend had the Buffalo Chicken Panini & they both raved about how good their meal was as well. This cafe has quite a bit of pazazz in it's menu selections and my friends and I are glad to see this new place open downtown for lunch with such a classy and yet very affordable menu. We've already decided that we're all going back tomorrow & I'll be ordering the Turkey Mango. Can't wait! —LynnGrant

2011-11-10 15:59:08   Great new place in downtown!! Clean, staff was friendly, food was great! I orders soup and 1/2 a panini-friend ordered quesadilla. My food was wonderful-I love that they have combos on the menu. My friend loved his steak quesadilla! Prices are very reasonable-$6-$7 with sides of homemade pasta salad only $1.25. I love that they use other local business such as bakers street bakery and finger lake roasters. We will be back-plus they deliver!! —JessieS.
