See Gone, But Not Forgotten

Men-tality was an upscale men's boutique in the village of Pittsford. Their clothes were fashionable and modern - no office wear, strictly after-5:00 clothes. The store's target market seemed to be fashion-conscious men in their '20s and '30s. The store closed in 2010.

Prices were a little higher than the mass-market mall stores - consistent with their nicer brands and attentive service.

Some brands they carried:

• Designer denim by Nudie, Earnest Sewn, and 575, 7 for mankind.
  

• Sportwear by Ben Sherman, Original Penguin, Hugo Boss, and Modern Amusement.
  

• Shoes by PF Flyer.
  

• Outerwear by Ben Sherman and Lucky Brand.

2008-10-16 09:20:02   Nice store. The owner and employees are very friendly and helpful. I'd say a lot of their clothes are made for the Axe Bodyspray set, so be judicious if you don't want to look like a fratboy. That said, they carry lots of nice stuff too, and plenty of lines that aren't available elsewhere in town. —EastSideStephen
