Rochester Art Supply is an art supply store located in the Cascade District downtown. Despite their well-known physical location, the majority of their sales are actually done via their extensive online shop, FineArtStore.com.
They used to have a gallery and studio called the Cascade Art Center that hosted art classes, workshops, and lectures and participated in First Friday. They have since hired more staff, however, and found they needed the extra space, so the Cascade Art Center is no more.

2007-12-26 15:55:19 I'm not artsy myself, but I read a neat article in either the D&C or City about how much business they do through online sales, which I thought was interesting. They also hand make a type of brush (I think) that is hard to find elsewhere in the United States. I'm not recalling details of the article too well obviously, but it made me want to go in and check out their store! —SaraChristine
