2013-06-09 00:50:49   (I too thought this was place was the same as the Roadhouse Grill- it's not, but is very similar.) Don't often go to chains OR steakhouses but went here tonight because an out-of-town visitor really wanted to, and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was exceptional, from the hostesses who greeted us, to the bartender who poured our drinks as we waited for our table, to our waitress who was outstanding in every way (when one person in our party couldn't decide between steak and ribs, she even offered to get him a sample of their BBQ sauce to help him make up his mind). The value was phenomenal- for $9.99, I received a small but perfectly portioned (for me) cut of sirloin, mashed potatoes with gravy, a hearty side salad layered with cheese and hard-boiled egg, and a roll with cinnamon butter. Beer prices were very reasonable too, and they even had a regional microbrew on tap (Southern Tier IPA). And you can order beer in 3 sizes- 10 oz, 16 oz, or 22 oz, which is nice if you like to drink just a little (or a lot!). This is probably the best chain restaurant experience I've had in the last year. Sticky Lips and Dino are still way better for BBQ, but I think this would be the first place I'd go to if I wanted a steak.

2014-05-17 22:14:04   Crowded, busy, load. Food was typical for a chain, not awful but not great. Service was terrible from our teenage waitress. We were told we could have fresh rolls every 10 minutes (that did not happen). Our food arrived before our napkins and utensils did. It took forever to get drink refills but every 5 minutes we were asked if we were done and if we wanted carryout containers. Plus I never did get my copy of my credit card statement, just the original bill and the merchants copy. —scotthendler
