Tiger Bucks is the name RIT has given to their flex money accounts. Similar to URos at University of Rochester. Many students who attended RIT prior to the name change refuse to use the term "Tiger Bucks" and continue to say "flex" instead. This tradition has, to some extent, been passed on down to new students as they come to RIT.
Tiger Bucks can also be used off campus. There are several restaurants and businesses in the RIT/Henrietta area that accept Tiger Bucks, such as Salvatore's and Subway. A full list can be viewed here.
