2008-10-23 14:39:44   I've been to Uno's in Williamsburg, noVA, and now Rochester, and all my experiences have led to either food poisoning or a complete disappointment. I've tried an item from each part of the menu - appetizer, salad, pizza, burger, entrĂ©e, dessert...all bad, especially the burgers and desserts. —JenFromDC

2009-01-20 18:10:00   Went to this restaurant once before and had a bad experience as far as food 'aftermath' was concerned, however a friend dragged me to it again and the food wasn't bad at all. I would stay away from the pizza, but the pasta was ok. Service was ok the first time, horrendous the second time. Seated immediately but was apparently assigned a server from across the restaurant and thus we had to find our own server whenever we wanted anything. Not a great experience but what can you expect from a chain restaurant. —AV8R

2010-11-17 18:17:45   Apparently, the Chicago original was one of the inventor's of Chicago style deep dish. I kind of like this chain because I have a weakness for things with tons of cheese but I imagine the real Uno blows it away. I hope to try it someday. —BatGuano

2011-02-12 20:47:59   I spent 20 years in Chicago although I grew up in upstate New York. I'll begin by saying that in Chicago there are at least a half dozen excellent places that I have personally had deep dish pizza, including the original Uno, also Pizzeria Due which is across the street and the same owner, Giordano's, Eduardo's, Gino's East and a few Lou Malnatti's locations. I know Chicago deep dish, and I love it. While this does not equal the original Uno or Due (or several others), it's pretty good and smokes the Syracuse Pizzeria Uno locations I have been to with my family. The crust is excellent, and while it gives away a little on flavor in the sauce to the original, I can recommend the Victor location as the best deep dish I've had in this area. —wdrazek
