Urban Legends also pop up in the Rochester area and there are a few that have been attributed to something or someone in our locale.

Ghost Deer - actually live in Seneca County, but local lore places them in Powder Mills Park and along Railroad Mills Road
Lady in White - grieving mother that can be seen at times searching the Durand-Eastman Park
