2009-01-13 13:54:24   Why are we creating a separate page for tanning salons? It's already in SalonsPeteB

2009-01-13 14:52:27   @PeteB and Alex. FYI — If I were looking for tanning places, I would not think to look in Salons. —BadFish

2009-04-27 15:12:53   Hi Alexander,

I noticed doing some edits today that the Rochester City Website was redesigned on April 20th and several links in the edits no longer worked. I tried finding Rochester MusicFest, for example and get nothing in the city's site search. Anyway, we may need to do some major fixups on a lot of City website links. For the moment I am just putting  http://...  around the bad address and noting it. Maybe Ryan or Dave can generate some helpful retrievals to make a list so we don't have to do RocWiki Searches. —BradMandell

2009-07-06 16:30:10   Alexander-ok you're on-I missed that. Thx —PeteB

2009-07-31 11:32:42   Hi Alexander,

Sorry to bump into you like that - hope I got what you wanted into the final page.

Thanks again for all your hard work on RocWiki.

2009-08-04 16:43:34   Hey, that is how we work, - always toward a better result - always appreciate your hard work and like to follow along to see what you are doing and view active pages. Otherwise, I would probably never look at many of them (:>) - besides - it is a great education. Maybe we could go on "Who wants to be a Millionaire, Rochester Edition" —BradMandell

2009-11-12 13:11:03   Lots of good work Alexander, like to see the Recent Changes page be a big scroll-down task. Keep up the great contributions. (:>) —BradMandell

2009-11-12 17:49:23   Alexander-nice work on the updating for the City Awards! —PeteB

2010-01-18 17:43:42   Hi Alexander, I noticed you did some yeoman work getting links to some Round Rochester panoramas on pages. I was worried about maintaining those links and warnings about Flash plug-in, so I created a separate [WWW] page with a [WWW] redirect link to use on pages with the link. I modified the Geva Theatre page as an example of how it might be used. One other caution is that the Photos paragraph header could cause page layout problems with some pages. Let me know what you think, I will hold off on any other edits until I hear back. —BradMandell

2010-01-19 12:48:08   Thanks for the feedback on the D&C and Panos, Alexander. I think I have got them all fixed now. I suspect some more special handling of other D&C links may be in order (:>( - Every time I come back to editing I realize how much outdated material there is and how RocWiki needs lower maintenance. Happy New Year - have a great 2010. —BradMandell

2010-01-22 18:45:41   Hey, you created an orphan redirect with Columbini's Deli was not sure what the purpose was, could you delete it or maybe AKA it somewhere if it is still needed (to get it off the Orphan Redirects list)??? Thanks, (:>} —BradMandell

2010-02-15 17:54:16   Hey Alexander, I noted your upload of a VintageViews postcard image. Although the postcard itself is not copyrighted, the photos of the card are more recent, and are probably covered. Even though does not have a specific copyright notice, their pages are copyrighted by default. I think it is best to at least link to the image source, just in case, at least we gave proper credit and it can lead he viewer to related material. We may have to make the image smaller if challenged so we are covered by Fair Use - various rulings have gone from 150 to 200 pix???

2010-04-14 15:24:23   On the Heat Nightclub page, should we really leave the comments from Brandon. He hasn't been to the place and in fact he isn't even in Rochester. —DamianKumor

2015-10-11 16:31:03   Yeah, I'm supposed to be working on grad school stuff. So I'm sitting at my computer yet still procrastinating. The wiki is basically a distraction from this paper I'm supposed to be writing that nevertheless keeps me at my computer so that I can at least get some snatches out. —EileenF
