Arnold Park is a beautiful residential street in the East Avenue Historic District. It is lined with stately old homes and vintage apartment buildings. It was laid out circa 1870 by William Arnold, a real estate agent and inventor of the slash lock. 6 Arnold Park was the home of Cornelius Parsons at the time he was elected mayor of Rochester in 1876.1
Like nearby Oxford Street, Arnold Park is divided by a tree-lined median.
