Camping is a popular outdoor activity in the Rochester area.

Hamlin Beach State Park is the only local state park with camping.


Webster Park is the only county park that offers camping for all ages. A permit is required - you can make reservations by calling 585-872-5326.


Greece Canal Park, Northampton Park, and Mendon Ponds Park each offer a "youth camping area," but details are not provided by the Monroe County Parks website.
