Conesus Lake is the westernmost of the Finger Lakes and located 25 miles south of Rochester accessible from I-390 south exit at Route 15 south. Route 20A runs across the Northern end of the lake in the hamlet of Lakeville.
From the Seneca name meaning "Always Beautiful."
The lake is eight miles long and one mile wide at its widest point, has a maximum depth of 65 feet,1 and a volume of roughly 43 billion gallons.
