2008-07-14 21:33:23   How does this page differ from Volunteer, Activism, Nonprofit Organizations and Spiritual Organizations? It seems like we're pretty well covered on this front. Or are you proposing that we start collapsing some of these topics into this header? —DaveMahon

2008-07-14 21:38:23   Good question, I was focused and searched on Charity and thought there needed to be a Top Level discussion that tied the subject together. I will have to review the pages you mentioned and rethink my approach. Going in for PET scan tomorrow, so may be a few days. —BradMandell

2008-07-15 05:55:27   After a quick look at those pages this morning before heading out, I think the page could still be worthwhile for a general discussion of charity within the area. The other pages are mostly just lists and could be referenced on the charity page. I am thinking some key charitable facts about Rochester (Elizabeth Strong, Eastmans, Golisano, for example). More later. —BradMandell

2008-07-15 06:34:25   After doing some more quick searches, etc I do think the topic needs some serious attention. I just discovered, for example, that United Way of Rochester is not a topic and only mentioned in one Nonprofit item. The lists are great, but incomplete. I hope to put together a page that speaks to someone thinking about their charitable goals and gives them some thoughts and direction. Also one that celebrates ROchester's generosity. —BradMandell
