The Nut House was a store on Monroe Avenue a few blocks north of Twelve Corners which sold fresh roasted nuts (roasted at the store), candies and gourmet foods. For the Jewish community they also stocked a wide variety of kosher and kosher/parve candy, chocolates, nuts and dried fruits. The owners sold the store after 37 years and closed on January 6, 2015. The new owners re-opened as Grand Cru Chocolates and Nuts at a new location in Oak Hill Commons.
