The Rochester Civic Garden Center was a non-profit Horticultural Education Center for the Genesee Region of New York State. They were founded in 1945 and are chartered by the New York State Board of Regents. The organization dissolved in 2018.
The RCGC offered garden tours, symposiums, classes, lectures, and other special events throughout the year at their headquarters in Warner Castle. The historic castle is open to the public and includes a botanical library. Highland Park is literally right in their backyard.
