Smokestack Cowork was an open-plan work space in the High Falls District designed to enhance collaboration and creativity, mimicking the coffeehouse atmosphere. Membership was open to small business owners, remote workers, and independent workers. They also offered high-speed Internet and serve coffee.
The name derived from the iconic smoke stack that towered over the High Falls until taken down for safety concerns in 2012.
The building was owned by Lyjha Wilton, founder of Boulder Coffee Co..
Smokestack closed sometime in late 2014.
