2006-07-20 05:02:31 They are opening (have opened??) one in Greece at the old Don Pablo's! —JcPop

2006-08-23 13:23:42 Greece is opened. Nice decor. Food is unimpressive. Their Rueben sandwich was a dissapointment. Better 1/2 was underwhelmed by the pasta dish. #1 son thought his hamburger sucked. Good drink specials though :-) —MrPhil

2006-08-31 12:39:47 I would agree with "underwhelmed" as a description for this eatery. Half price appetizers help out, but for wings walk down a block to Elmwood Inn! —EllenKelsey

2006-11-09 22:48:23 They are opening a third location in Henrietta on Winton Road in the old Swiss Chalet, by Winton Place —ScottHendler
2007-01-06 21:26:26   Not sure why they're quite as popular as they are. Still, the Cajun Garlic wings are tasty, and lately they've actually been cooking the burgers to order, although they miss a certain beefy flavor. —RufoSanchez

2007-02-27 11:52:35   I find their "nicer", more expensive entrees to be pretty mediocre, but the basic bar food and cheap stuff is good. I really like the French onion soup. —RachelBlumenthal

2007-02-27 13:58:44   The original on Mt. Hope has a definite charm to it which the Greece location lacks. It has the look and feel of a Chili's. I hope they are able to inject some character into the new place on Winton, or else it will be indestinguishable from the Applebee's next door. —EastSideStephen

2007-02-28 08:36:19   I went to the Greece one for the first time last night and I thought it looked really nice on the inside. It doesn't have the same type of "charm" that the Mt. Hope one does, but I wouldn't compare it to Chili's. The set-up was very open and comfortable and the service was friendly. The food seemed a little bit worse than Mt. Hope, though. —RachelBlumenthal

2007-04-15 18:54:00   I think the decor in Greece is much nicer than the Mt. Hope location, I really liked the light fixtures (very modern) and the open arrangement. I'm still not crazy about the food. —EllenKelsey

2007-04-16 00:46:07   The best crab cakes in New York!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! —DesaRaeStanton

2007-07-10 09:26:35   My boyfriend and I went for dinner last night and hidden on the flip board at the table was a monday night 2-fer special, order 1 grill entree and get the second for $2. I ordered the 12oz steak and he got a steak & wings combo. Although he wasn't impressed with the wings, our steak was really good, cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious too. We had our two steak entrees and a pitcher of beer for $28 before tip. Not bad! I'll definitly try this Monday deal again. —SaraChristine

2007-07-19 19:51:54   Two friends and I went to the Greece location and were extremely disappointed with our meals and our server. All of us had been to the Mt Hope location and thought that the atmosphere was wonderful and found that the service was satisfactory. The food seemed to have been better too. —ChelseaBaleno

2007-07-20 20:07:28   we tried out the new Winton Rd. location this past monday and went for the monday night special, order 1 grill entree and get the second for $2 and were very impressed... certainly would head back and the new location is beautiful... very open and airy! —JcPop

2007-07-22 22:45:55   We gave the Winton Road location a try Saturday. Wife had the California Burger (Bacon, Mushroom & Cheddar Cheese)-really enjoyed it. I had the Memphis Smoked BBQ Sandwich—I tend to like my BBQ sweeter but for BBQ it was very good. Service was very good and our waiter was attentive. —PeteB

2007-09-18 16:53:36   My wife and I ate at the Mt Hope location every other night during the first ten days we moved to Rochester and we've never been disappointed.

Prices are very reasonable, especially with special coupons you can print from their web site. The food is good, for the type of restaurant. The beer selection is quite impressive and the drink specials are attractive. Service is quick and friendly.

The atmosphere is noisy but that's part of the game, isn't it? —AndreaCogliati

2007-09-18 17:17:26   The people who own The Distillery also own Pellegrino's Deli Cafe. They're happy to help out groups; it usually comes in the form of massive stacks of coupons for free appetizers and half-off subs. —DaveMahon

2007-11-02 17:28:16   I have visited the Distillery in Greece on two occassions and I don't think I will go back again. Each time a side dish or soup that was ordered either never came at all, or it arrived late and cold. The waitstaff also seem very unorganized and not very attentive. You will get your order taken fairly quickly, but after that, it's like you're invisible.
It also takes too long to get your check and pay. This is all a real shame, because the food is actually pretty good here.......if you ever get it and can checkout!

2007-12-07 01:18:44   Went to Greece location twice last week. First time for dinner with the family. Service was outstanding, but food was terrible. The fries were hot, but just didn't look or taste good. The hot wings were much too mild and too well done. Had wings the second night and they were much better, but that may be because I had much more to drink that night. I prefer the Mt Hope location. Haven't tried Winton location yet. —WestSideB
