Pearl Street is a short residential street in the Pearl-Meigs-Monroe neighborhood, lined primarily with old houses broken into rental units. The name also derives from Monroe Avenue and Meigs Street. Pearl intersects with both Meigs and South Goodman.
Pearl is laid out as one of the city's smaller "spokes" that links to Alexander Street. James Monroe High School is located at the corner of Pearl and Alexander.
