Meigs Street

Meigs Street is a route in Rochester's Southeast Quadrant that passes through the neighborhoods of Highland Park, Pearl-Meigs-Monroe, Monroe Village, Park Avenue, and the East Avenue Historic District. It is primarily residential, except for clusters of commercial activity at the intersections with Park Avenue, Monroe Avenue, and South Clinton.

Meigs also intersects with Pearl Street. Together with Monroe, these three streets form the Pearl-Meigs-Monroe neighborhood's name. The city often uses the designation Park-Meigs to refer to a large area centered on Meigs Street and Park Avenue.

The southern end terminates abruptly at a cul-de-sac in Highland Park.

Aksoy's Tailor Shop is located in a building whose address is 121 Park Ave, but their entrances are on the Meigs side.

Rent-A-Center, New York Stylee, and Bright Bubble Laundromat are all on the corner of Meigs Street and Monroe.
