2006-11-16 19:54:42   Has very good pizza and the best wings of any pizza place. A lot of different toppings too. I've heard their sheet pizzas aren't as good. —StevenDibelius

2007-01-28 20:57:00   Pizza's pretty good, but the people who run these places are awul awful people with terrible attitudes and no concept of customer service. Incredibly rude. —MisterElkington

2007-05-16 19:59:51   A new location is opening where Two Paisans Pizza was on S. Clinton (coming soon as of May 16, 2007). —RachelBlumenthal

2007-11-10 14:07:12   They have really good pizza, probably the best out of any large chain that I've had. On par with Mr. Shoes Pizza. Their wings are pretty tasty. I do not recommend their dinners. I got eggplant parm and it hardly had any pasta sauce, the pasta was so dry that I threw it out and the eggplant wasn't that great, mostly breading. Overall a great place for pizza and wings. —CatMagro

2007-11-10 14:39:59   This is my fave pizza in town. Love the doughy crust. —MarcVera

2007-12-06 21:31:01   We tried to order from this place for lunch today at work... and they HUNG UP on us in the middle of the order! (no joke) It may have just been an accident, but it's still incredibly rude... we won't be ordering (or attempting to order) from here again. —EricArdis

2008-02-02 21:41:04   You should probably be aware that they cannot deliver to people with cell-phone numbers because their online system cannot handle area codes, they will not tell you this, and if you call two hours after ordering asking where your pizza is they are inordinately rude to you. I mean really rude. They actually *scream* at you if you try to explain to them why they *need* your area code, and then tell you your number is invalid.

I'm sure their pizza is fabulous, or they'd be out of business; so if you can afford the time to drive there, order, wait and drive home with it, go for it. —SadieCoulter

2008-02-03 00:31:41   SadieCoulter - While people with out-of-area cell phones may not be able to order online, you don't have to "drive there, order, wait and drive home with it". You could call them with that out-of-area cell phone.

I know I'm young, but even I remember when people placed delivery orders over the phone. Heck, I still do sometimes. I've even ordered over the phone from Salvatore's before. —StevenDibelius

2008-02-04 10:20:12   I don't know what all of this is about. I get a pizza from Salvatore's about once a week (They have a carryout special on Mondays: A large pizza for $6.50) and they have never been rude to me... And I have never heard them be rude to anyone else, either. —HuffaMoose

2008-04-26 16:21:13   Salvatore' is awful, just awful, and I have no idea why my previous comment describing how awful Salvatore's is was deleted. They use very cheap cheese which overpowers everything else you could possibly try to add onto it. I'd eat Pizza Hut everyday before I eat here. I've never tried any else other than their pizza, and quite probably, I never will. —NoahLeaf

2008-05-16 12:51:47   Blah! Thats all I can say about the pizza. —MrRochester

2008-05-17 21:12:45   I do not care for their pizza what so ever. —Dustin

2008-07-20 15:13:08   Saucy pizza with a crust that's lighter and airier than most other places. I can easily eat two Super Slices and leave hungry.

Their shaved steak subs are very noteworthy. I like them must better than DiBella's cheesesteaks, partly because Salvatore's doesn't throw a fit if you want extras on top, like salami or mayo. —ZachSmalt

2008-08-24 08:39:24   Jay St. location has fine service, OK pizza and good wings. Work up the street on West Ave and go there once a month, never had a problem. —CJM8232

2008-12-23 02:03:46   Worst pizza in the world. I have no idea how this place manages to stay open, let alone spread. Either by virtue of proximity to the RIT campus or some sort of a sweetheart deal nearly all the pizza at RIT is from Salvatore's. Thank Heaven Park Point just opened nearby where one can get some decent pizza from Paradiso_PizzaAlexK

2009-01-05 15:24:37   pizza is alright, calzones are awesome —JohnJoseph

2009-01-12 13:28:26   Salvatore's is to Rochester what Pizza Hut is to the USA: the most widely available, bad pizza around. Horrible, greasy doughy crust that is only made worse by a gloppy layer of congealed cheese on top. —DavidPausch

2009-02-28 22:02:25   I love this pizza.I eat here bi-weekly and it is always the best. The other night I ordered online and my name was entered for a drawing. As a result of this drawing I lost 30 pounds. —sillybilly

2009-03-01 16:12:02   On top of the pizza being the definition of mediocre, I can't support an establishment that uses a grown man in a diaper to advertise its product. I know it's just a joke but it's embarrassing to watch and doesn't make me hungry for Salvatore's pizza. —BatGuano

2009-03-08 00:06:35   I get Salvatore's when I'm in the city... I don't mind the pizza, but it is doughy, as has been stated before. The jumbo wings, however, are a joke. They were smaller than any wings I have ever had — literally the size of my pinky, which is a shame since they want 7 bucks for 10 of them.

Get the pizza of you can get it cheap, and skip everything else. —foxual

2009-03-19 22:46:47   The pizza is really great! They have a lot of wonderful food choices for people with dietary restrictions. There was a small mistake with my delivery order but they resolved the issue very quickly and courteously. Their online ordering system is also very easy and convenient. —PrincessB
