2007-02-13 19:07:08   Scott, I'm wondering if you could fill some things in on the Ruby Tuesday's page you created. There's nothing but 'phone-book' info there, which is useful, but you can get that in a phonebook, or directory webpage. Maybe add some info? Local color? Some page is better than no page, but a page with some local info/color is far better than both. —FarMcKon

2008-11-07 10:51:42   Hey. I don't think you can even compare Mise en Place to Max's Market. The main clientele for Max's Market won't even go into the city. That's almost a given. Since I moved my business from the wedge, it's almost **all** suburb people that don't go into the city. I think both places will be fine. On the first day, my receipt # was 256. I think they'll do fine. It was a new POS they had, so they prob started with #1 or 2. —MarcVera

2008-11-07 18:14:50   It's been an interesting few months here in Pittsford. That's about all I can really say. I don't think the economic crash helped matters. —MarcVera

2009-03-29 21:02:50   Scott, I could find nothing about Wish using Google searches. Do you have any web references, otherwise, I suggest we hold off putting the link in the list. —BradMandell

2009-03-29 21:07:59   Thanks - should have waited - funny, Google does not find it yet (:>) —BradMandell

2009-08-01 12:47:28   Please take a look at Wiki Community/For Editor Review/Talk - thanks, Brad —BradMandell

2009-12-29 21:07:15   Scott-thanks for the update-I'll revert it, sorry. UPDATE: You already updated it. —PeteB

2010-12-23 18:39:34   Scott-sorry for the delay in responding. I'm in a fog with a cold...on top of the Holiday crunch. You're right-I got overzealous—I reverted Dark Horse. —PeteB

2010-12-23 20:30:48   Actually I'm starting to feel better—on the downside my wife feels worse. Ohhh, joyous Christmas ;) —PeteB

2011-05-17 18:30:35   Scott-was wondering if you'd be interested in attending our next Wiki Contributor's meeting? —PeteB

2011-05-17 21:56:44   Scott, if the conversation was just between you and Pete, that doesn't mean it's the way things are done. See Gone, But Not Forgotten/Talk which still list removal of links as a step. If you want to change this then I suggest bringing it up at the June contributor's meeting. —DamianKumor

2011-05-17 22:27:24   Damian is correct—I have no problem with your suggestion but I don't make the decisions :) I'll add it to the agenda —PeteB

2011-06-20 11:54:53   Hi Scott! Lovely to meet you at the June contributors meeting. Hope all is well! —MrsMunson

2011-06-20 21:17:12   Scott-sorry I didn't make it to the meeting. My Dad is 83 and has had some health issues lately. Brunch got changed to dinner and I'm not going to lose time with my father at this time of our lives. —PeteB

2011-11-09 22:07:13   Scott—I *hate* the linkshere script. I have removed it's use whenever possible. Yes it means more manual updating but a lil gnoming never hurt anyone. —PeteB

2011-11-09 22:07:33   You going to come to the meeting? —PeteB

2011-11-09 22:11:20   Sounds good-see you then —PeteB

2011-11-12 18:23:45   Will add —PeteB

2012-05-25 22:18:25   Huh. I searched for a preexisting Voter's Block page before I made the new one but nothing came up. —EileenF

2012-11-28 21:55:11   Scott-please don't remove locations of businesses without documenting properly. You didn't even leave a message in the body of the page for Sugar. Also we document all closings. Example: 2012/closings. Thx —peteb

2012-12-25 19:57:58   I know but I can't find the proper revert..... —peteb

2013-03-28 19:09:55   Scott-are you making the April Meeting? I need to know as you've been on the agenda. Thanks —peteb

2013-03-28 20:45:49   Please look for such a piece of clip art and let me know when you've found one you consider acceptable. —peteb

2013-09-30 23:33:34   Scott can you add Crook Book News page? https://rocwiki.org/Newspapers www.crookbooknews.com local newspaper —SamuelPizzo

2013-12-23 06:29:13   Have you been to Fuego Coffee Roasters yet? If you liked Joe Bean, you'll love them. —EileenF

2014-07-02 21:40:12   Read the story. It's a second hand account of what a part time employee allegedly said to a customer. That hardly makes an entire company anti-semitic. —badfish

2015-10-18 16:18:38   Helpful tip: When you GBNF something, you can go to "Info" and then to the "Links" tab and it will show you all the pages on the wiki that link to that page. Make sure you delete the item from all of them. Bisque and Brush, for example, was also on Life with Kids and Good Ideas for Dates. —EileenF

2016-12-28 00:47:37   Scott—FYI we don't change names. We keep the old names for posterity/historical purposes and open a new page for the new business. —peteb

2016-12-29 01:00:13   Sorry bud... —peteb

2017-01-08 16:38:33   Scott, I edited your wine and art place post and am commenting here to make sure it's visible and to see if there is debate. I removed the mention of local places. I feel like it was biased against chains. I personally like to go to local places instead of chains, (except Chipotle because burritos) but I feel like singling out one national chain is sort of biased. Basically, even though I agree in practice, it doesn't mean we should do it on the wiki. Let me know what you think, I encourage anyone reading this comment on my pofile if you disagree and let me know why. Thanks! —badfish

2017-01-09 09:20:41   I would put info about similar local places in a comment, rather than as part of the main text. —EileenF

2017-12-15 11:23:10   I don't see "Lasalle" on the Top Of The Bay Facebook or (claimed) Yelp sites, and the word had been removed from the front of the building (although a shadow image remained) when I drove past last week. Am I missing something? —markjackson

2018-12-31 17:13:57   Which page? —peteb

2020-10-26 18:19:10   "Tire Choice?" I know that's one of Monro, Inc.'s brands but IIRC it was fairly recently that the local signage was changed to "Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers." What am I missing? —markjackson

2020-10-27 13:04:13   Yes, the Monro / Tire Choice situation is unclear; Monro, Inc. also owns the three Mr. Tire shops in our area. We might need three pages. . .but as I find I don't know how to revert a name change I'm stuck. —markjackson

2020-12-24 15:29:47   Scott on occasion please check Orphaned Pages. I've been working on it some. It's stacking up a bit and if we can link some, we can clean it up. Thx —peteb

2021-01-12 16:02:34   Hey Scott—just a heads up—when something closes/gets sold (ie Grossman's Bargain Outlet), we don't overwrite it. We keep the original name active for posterity. :) —peteb

2021-01-12 16:08:16   I can try to fix it another day...just happened to notice it :) —peteb

2022-08-01 22:03:44   Brownstein's is planning on resuming retail sales - strictly curbside - in late August, and collecting email addresses of those wanting to receive information when available through their Facebook page; GBNF is perhaps premature. —markjackson

2022-08-13 20:41:10   Yes i'll take care of it. Thank you for reminding me —peteb

2024-01-15 15:56:24   Policy question. You created the Shengjing Garden page back in 2018. By 2021 they were closed, and FrankPorcellaJr, who had been doing updates, deleted the page. I resurrected it and did the closure formatting. A few days ago FrankPorcellaJr deleted it again with the comment: Page deleted (been asked by old owner to delete). Undo again, or let it go? —markjackson
