Rochester Plaza Hotel and Conference Center was an independent local hotel in downtown Rochester.

Rochester Plaza Hotel was convenient to headquarters offices of Kodak, Xerox and Bausch and Lomb, as well as downtown attractions like the Blue Cross Arena, Frontier Field, Geva Theatre, and Strong National Museum of Play.

The hotel provided dining through two restaurants and a cafe.


• State Street Bar and Grill - casual upscale menu and warm atmosphere ... outdoor seating areas - sometime Jazz venue
  

• The River Club -daily breakfast buffet, extensive lunch menu, ... view overlooking the Genesee River. - Private rooms for meal meetings.
  

• TJ's Cafe - small cafe serves Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters

  The hotel and convention center had facilities for banquets (seating to 800), weddings, and a variety of meetings and conventions.

  The State Street Bar and Grill was traditionally the location of the nightly afterparty for the Rochester International Jazz Festival and the hotel hosts many of the performers each year.

  Note: Hotel was formerly part of the Crowne Plaza Hotel chain. ¹

Rochester Plaza Hotel became Holiday Inn Rochester Downtown in 2015. TJ's Cafe is also closed.
