Jim's on Main is a diner in South Marketview Heights serving early breakfast and lunch. Located near The Armory and Eastman Dental Dispensary.
The restaurant was originally called Jim's Restaurant Too, after the original Jim's Restaurant in North Winton Village. After suffering a fire in December 2014, Jim's Restaurant Too was forced to close. Owner Elena Knapp attempted to preserve jobs by sending displaced employees to Jim's Restaurant, forcing employees there to sacrifice shifts. The situation worsened in 2015, when the landlord told her the building housing Jim's Restaurant was slated to be demolished for a new ALDI, forcing them to close in May. Finally, however, the new Jim's on Main was opened on February 24, 2016 with a fully renovated interior and exterior. The staff is a combination of the two former restaurants.
