Route 383 starts as a busy city street, works its way through the Southern suburbs and ends up as a rural roadway. Locally it is more generally known as Exchange Boulevard, Plymouth Avenue South, Scottsville Road, Scottsville-Mumford Road and small bits of other roads (see local roads for detailed listings of bussiness/attractions). It passes through Brighton, Chili and Scottsville along the way.
